The 'Friends group', as it is affectionately referred, is a parent-run body of people who organise a variety of social events, the majority of which raise funds for the School and Nursery. The Friends have been in existence for 10 years and hold meetings once or twice a term - usually in the evenings - to both plan events and review the proposals from the School and Nursery for the funds that have been raised. The meetings are fun and quite often held at the pub!
The images below give you a flavour of our previous events. We have proudly put on 3 Summer Balls, barn dances as well as the infamous and annual Easter Egg hunt and Christmas Bazaar. Since Friends began it has proudly raised over £20,000 and has funded some excellent initiatives such as the Tree House and computer equipment and networking for the School, state of the art triple buggies for the Under 3's and water tables and sand trays for the Nursery.
We are always pleased to see new faces at the Friends so please do pop along to the next meeting, see what it is all about and get involved! For more information, please get in touch via the office.
