The Apple Echo is the official newspaper for Orchard School and Nursery. It contains articles about all the exciting and interesting things the children have been doing, as well as important information about forthcoming events. It is published towards the end of each school term.

A First Taste of Business
The Apple Echo is run as a business enterprise, with the children tasked with the responsibility of raising money for the printing of each issue through newspaper sales and the generation of advertising revenue. This provides a real hands on opportunity for the children to get their first experience of the world of commercial business and possibly setting them on the path to entrepreneurship.

Presses Roll
All the children across the school and nursery can contribute to the newspaper, but it is the responsibility of the children in Prep 3 and 4 to compile, edit and produce the finished product, working extremely hard each term to meet the deadline. Regular features include Staff Secrets, Book Corner, Puzzle Time, Jokes, Baking Section and Gossip from the Garden.
