Nursery First Steps - Age 0 -2
Our main aim for our youngest children is to help make the transition from home to nursery as seamless as possible. We are very aware that young babies thrive on warm and consistent love and care, and it is very important that your baby feels as safe and secure here as at home. We have a settling in period of one to two weeks during which our partnership with you and your baby is formed.
Your child will have lots of opportunity for exploratory play and will be introduced to sensory experiences such as painting. We venture out most days in our triple push chairs, ensuring that the children are able to benefit from fresh air and the natural environment our grounds provide..
Nursery Next Steps - Age 2 - 3
We work under the umbrella of the Early Years Foundation Stage and our main aim is to enable and encourage children to build on their needs, interests and stage of development. Children have the time to perfect and gain confidence in their acquired skills as well establishing a firm platform on which their new proficiencies can be built.
We are aware that children of this age love to climb, run and take part in active play with other children, and help them to learn about safe limits and dangers, as their increasing independence leads to new and challenging activities.
